 Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. (born October 20, 1971), known professionally as Snoop Dogg (previously Snoop Doggy Dogg and then Snoop Lion),is a popular American rapper from America. His fame dates back to 1992 when he featured on Dr. Dre's first solo single, "Deep Cover", followed by his debut album as a solo artist, The Chronic. Broadus has since sold more than 23 million albums across the United States and 35 million albums across the globe. His accolades include an American Music Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and 17 nominations at the Grammy Awards. Broadus is the first solo album, Doggystyle (produced by Dr. Dre), was released by Death Row Records on November 23 on the 23rd of November, 1993.
