Brooke Shields

 Brooke Christa Shields, born May 31, 1965, is an American actress. At age 12, she was modeling as a child. She was praised by critics for her part in the film of Louis Malle's Pretty Baby (1978). She continued to model into her late teenage years and appeared in a variety of dramas during the 1980s, including The Blue Lagoon (1980) and Franco Zeffirelli's Endless Love (1981).In 1983, Shields quit her job as a model and enrolled at Princeton University, where she graduated with an undergraduate degree in Romance languages. Shields was back in acting by the 1990s and played minor roles in movies. She also played a prominent role in the NBC sitcoms Suddenly Susan (1996-192000), for which she won two Golden Globe nominations and Lipstick Jungle (2008)-2009. Shields was on NBC in 2017 with a recurring role as a Law & Order: Special Victims unit character in the 19th season of the show. Since 2014, Shields has voiced Beverly Goodman in the Adult Swim animated series Mr. Pickles and its spinoff Momma Named Me Sheriff.
