Snoop Dogg

 Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. (born on 20th October 1971) is known as Snoop Dogg (previously Snoop Doggy Dogg and briefly Snoop Lion) is a popular American rapper from the United States. His fame began in 1992 when he was featured in Dr. Dre's debut solo single, "Deep Cover", and later on Dre's debut solo album The Chronic. Broadus has since sold over 23 million albums across the United States and 35 million albums around the world. His awards include an American Music Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and 17 nominations for Grammy Awards.Broadus is the first solo artist to release a studio album, Doggystyle, produced by Dr. Dre The album was released by Death Row Records in November 1993. It it debuted at the top of the most popular album charts and the Billboard 200, and on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Doggystyle sold 800,000 copies within the first week of release. It was quadruple platinum in 1994. Singles like "What's my Name?" were also included. "Gin and Juice" and "What's My Name?" Broadus composed the music for Death Row Records' 1994 short film Murder Was the Case starring Snoop.
