Sharon Vonne Stone, born on the 10th of March, 1958 was an American actress. She is most well-known for her role as femme fatales and women with mystery on film and television. She was one of the most famous sexually explicit icons in the 1990s. Stone has been the recipient of numerous awards which include a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a nomination for an Academy Award. Stone was awarded a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame 1995 and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters France 2005 (Commander in 2021). She also appeared in her first role as an actor in the horror film of Wes Craven Deadly Blessing (1981). Stone appeared in numerous films during the 1980s including Irreconcilable Differents (1984), King Solomon's Mines (85), Cold Steel (1987) and Above the Law (1988). Her role in Paul Verhoeven’s science-fiction action film Total Recall was a major breakthrough.
