Seth Aaron Rogen, /'roUg@nis a popular Canadian-American actor, comedian and film maker. He was born April 15, 1982. Originally a stand-up comedian in Vancouver He then moved to Los Angeles for a part in Judd Apatow's show Freaks and Geeks, and later, he was cast on the sitcom Undeclared, which also hired Rogen as a writer. Apatow assisted Rogen to make a move in film after landing the position of a staff writer for the final season on Da Ali G Show. Apatow was nominated as a Primetime Emmy Award nominee for Outstanding Writing in the field of Variety Series. His first film role was Donnie Darko (2001). Rogen was given a role of support and credited as a co-producer in Apatow's directorial debut, The 40-Year-Old Lady. Universal Pictures subsequently cast him as the lead in Apatow's films Knocked Up and Funny People. Rogen co-starred as Steve Wozniak in Universal's Steve Jobs biopic in 2015. He co-created the AMC television show Preacher in 2016 alongside Sam Catlin and Evan Goldberg, his writing partner. He also serves as executive producer, writer as well as a director.
