Ronda Rousey

 Ronda Jean Rousey (/'raUziRousey/; born February 1 1987) is an American professional wrestler and actress. She was also a former judoka and mixed martial artist. She is currently signed with WWE. In her second stint she is the SmackDown Women's champion. She is most famous for her time competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Her long standing nickname, "Rowdy", was inherited from professional wrestler Roddy Piper. She was the first American female to win an Olympic medal in judo by getting bronze medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics, Rousey began her mixed martial arts (MMA) career with King of the Cage in the year 2011. After joining Strikeforce in 2012, she was the company's final Women's Bantamweight Champion before it was acquired by UFC. Rousey, who was participant in UFC 157's first female fight she was the women's bantamweight champion. Also, she held the record for most UFC title defenses (6 by a female fighter) up until being overtaken by Valentina Shchenko in 2022. Rousey quit MMA in 2016 and became the first female fighter inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2018.
