Ron Howard

 Born on March 1st, 1954. Ronald William Howard is an American screenwriter, producer and actor. Howard first rose to fame as an actor for children. Howard was a guest on various television shows, like The Twilight Zone. He was the young Opie Taylor (played in The Andy Griffith Show between 1960 and 1968) and gained national attention. He also appeared in The Music Man (1962), which was a critical and commercial success. The film was credited to him as Ronny Howard in his film and television appearances between 1959 and 1973. Howard was played in one of the leading characters in the movie about coming-of-age American Graffiti (1973), and then became a household name for his role as Richie Cunningham in the sitcom Happy Days as a character that he played from 1974 until 1980.In the year 1980, Howard left Happy Days to focus on directing, producing, and occasionally writing a number of television and film series. His films include the comedy films Night Shift (1982), Splash (1984) and Cocoon (1985) as along with the adventure film Willow (1988), the action thriller Backdraft (1991) and the film that combines comedy and drama from the newspaper The Paper (1994).
