Brian Boitano

 Brian Anthony Boitano, born on the 22nd of October, 1963, in Sunnyvale, California is an American figure skating champion. He is the 1988 Olympic champion, 1986 and 1988 World Champion, and the 1985-1988 U.S. National Champion.He became a professional after the 1988 season. Under new rules by the ISU the ISU, he was back in competition in 1993 , and participated at the 1994 Winter Olympics, where he was ranked sixth. He returned to professional level. In 1996 he was inducted into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame as well as the American Figure Skating Hall of Fame.Brian Boitano was born in 1963 and grew up in Mountain View, California. Boitano graduated from Marian A. Peterson High School in Sunnyvale, California. Boitano is an Italian American citizen with a family that hails from northern Italy. He has lived in San Francisco since he was an adult. In 1984, he placed second at the United States Figure Skating Championships. This earned him a spot in the 1984 Winter Olympics. He was 5th at the Olympics, setting the scene for his future success throughout the next four years.
