Poppy Montgomery

 Poppy Montgomery (born Poppy Petal Emma Elizabeth Deveraux Donahue on 19 June, 1972) is an actress from Australia. From 2002 to 2009, she played FBI agent Samantha Spade in the CBS mystery drama Without a Trace. She also played the role of Detective Carrie Wells in the CBS/A&E drama Unforgettable from 2011 until 2016. Montgomery was born in Sydney (New South Wales), Australia to mother Nicola (nee Montgomery) and father Phil Donahue who is a restaurateur. She is the youngest of six kids. Her parents named their daughters after flowers such as Poppy, Rosie, Daisy, Lily and Marigold - and their son, Jethro Tull, after the rock band Jethro Tull.Montgomery was averse to school, and was expelled from six private academies until she quit at the age of 15 to pursue stage acting[8and travel throughout Bali with her then-boyfriend. Montgomery was a refugee to the United States in her 18th year, and arrived in Florida to find a partner she met while an exchange student. After five days, she realized she was mistaken.
