Paul McCartney

 Sir James Paul McCartney CH MBE (born 18 June 1942) is an English musician, singer and musician who gained worldwide recognition with the Beatles and for whom the bass guitarist shared primary songwriting and lead vocal duties with John Lennon. A renowned and popular composers and performers ever, McCartney is known for his lyrical approach to bass playing, versatile and wide tenor vocal range, and musical diversity, encompassing different styles from pre-rock roll pop, to classical and electronica. The songwriting partnership he formed with Lennon remains the most successful in history.Born in Liverpool, McCartney taught himself piano, guitar and songwriting when he was a teenager and was heavily influenced by his father who was who was a jazz musician, as well as rock and roll performers such as Little Richard and Buddy Holly. McCartney's career began in the Quarrymen's skiffle group around 1957. The group morphed to become the Beatles in 1960. Sometime referred to as "the cute Beatle", McCartney later involved himself with the London avant-garde, and was the main force behind the introduction of experimental aesthetics in the Beatles' studio productions.
