Nicholas Scott Cannon (born October 8 in 1980) is an American TV host, actor, rapper, and comedian. Cannon began his career in television in the teen years by hosting All That. Then, he was able to host the show The Nick Cannon Show and Wild 'n Out, America's Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties and The Masked Singer. Cannon played the role of actor in the movies Drumline and Love Don't Cost a Thing. Then he was able to host The Nick Cannon Show, Wild 'n Out, America's Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, The Masked Singer and The Nick Cannon Show. In 2003, he released the self-titled debut album with the track "Gigolo", a collaboration with R. Kelly. In 2007, he performed the role of the fictional footballer TJ Harper in the film Goal II: Living the Dream. Cannon recorded "Dime Piece" in 2006 as well as "My Wife" on the album Stages. This album was never released. Cannon was raised mainly by his paternal grandpa (who he and his biological dad called "dad"). When he was a kid, Cannon grew up in Lincoln Park's Bay Vista Housing Projects, that is a notorious gang-ridden area of Southeast San Diego.
