Melissa Marie Benoist, /b@'noIst/b@-NOYST was born on the 4th of October 1988. She is an American actress and singer. Marley Rose was her first big role on the musical comedy series of Fox Glee (2012)-2014, where she was a series participant during the fifth season. She gained a lot of attention as the main character on the CBS Supergirl, a CBS/ CW Supergirl, a superhero series Supergirl (2015-2021) as well with the other related content in the Arrowverse franchise.Benoist's film appearances include the psychological thriller Whiplash (2014) as well as the comedy drama Danny Collins (2015), the crime comedy Band of Robbers (2015) and the romantic Western The Longest Ride (2015), the action thriller Patriots Day (2016), the drama Lowriders (2016) Lowriders (2016), and the comedy drama Sun Dogs (2017).
