Helen Hunt

 Helen Elizabeth Hunt was born June 15, 1963. She is an American actor as well as a director and producer. She has won numerous awards such as an Academy Award, four Primetime Emmy Awards, and four Golden Globe Awards.Hunt rose to fame portraying Jamie Buchman in the sitcom Mad About You (1992-1999, 2019) and was awarded three Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in the field of Television Series - Musical or Comedy, and four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Comedy Series.Hunt won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance as Carol Connelly in the romantic comedy As Good as It Gets (1997) and her performance as Cheryl Cohen-Greene in The Sessions (2012), was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Other noteworthy films include Twister (1996), Cast Away (2000), The Things Women Want (2000), Pay It Forward (2000), Bobby (2006), Soul Surfer (2011) and The Miracle Season (2018).Hunt made her directorial debut in Then She Found Me (2007) as well as directed the film Ride (2014) and episodes of television shows that include House of Lies, This Is Us, Feud: Bette and Joan, American Housewife, and the first episode of the Mad About You revival.
