Marilu Henner

 American actor Mary Lucy Denise Henner. She began her career in the musical Grease, Henner made her screen debut in the comedy-drama Between the Lines in 1977. In 1977 she was cast as Elaine O'Connor Nardo on the sitcom on ABC/NBC Taxi. She received five Golden Globe Award nominations. She was a part of several films, including Hammett (1982), The Man Who Loved Women (83) and Johnny Dangerously (1984) as well as Johnny Dangerously (1884), RustlersThe ' Rhapsody (1985), Ladykillers (88), L.A. Story (1991) and Noises Off (1992). She was back on television in the form of her role as the main character on the CBS sitcom Evening Shade (1990-1994), and later had leading roles in many made-for-television movies.Henner was born in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Loretta Callis (born Nikoleta Kalogeropoulos), who died of arthritis at the age of 58, and Joseph Henner (whose surname was originally Pudlowski) who died from an attack of the heart at 52.
