Margaret Constance "Maisie" Williams (born 15 April 1997) is an English actress. Williams was first seen in acting in 2011 when she played Arya Stark on Game of Thrones, an HBO epic medieval fantasy television show (2011-2019). Her work on the show earned her critical praise and recognition. Williams was also nominated for two Emmy Awards. Williams has also been on TV as Ashildr as a guest actor in the BBC's science fiction show Doctor Who (2015). She also appeared in Cyberbully (2015) and iBoy (2017) which is a British science-fiction teen thriller. She played Kim Noakes, the central character in comedy action drama Two Weeks to Live (2020), and portrayed punk rock legend Jordan (Pamela Rooke) in Pistol (2022) an biopic about the Sex Pistols. Williams has also voiced Cammie MacCloud on the American animated web series Gen:Lock (2019-present).In 2014 she was the lead character Lydia in her debut feature film, the coming-of age thriller The Falling, for which she received critical acclaim and awards recognition.
