Lil KIm

 Kimberly Denise Jones, born July 11, 1974, better known as Lil' Kim is an American rapper and reality TV personality. Born in Brooklyn, New York City, she lived much of her teenage years in the streets following her exiled from her home. Jones started freestyle rapping in her teens and was influenced by female hip-hop artists such as Lady of Rage and MC Lyte. She was asked to join The Notorious B.I.G.'s Junior M.A.F.I.A. in 1994 by a rapper who was also a friend. The group's debut album, Conspiracy, was certified double platinum, and also received two top 20 singles in America. It was the first female rap album to debut in America in the year 1996. The albums that followed, The Notorious K.I.M. (2000) and La Bella Mafia (2003) were also certified platinum. The year 2001 saw Lil’ Kim topped the charts in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 featured the single "Lady Marmalade", a remake of LaBelle's hit single of 1974, with Mya, Pink and Christina Aguilera.
