Kaya Scodelario

 Kaya Rose Scodelario Davis (nee Humphrey) is an English actress from the UK. She is most well-known for her performances in Effy Stonem's E4 drama Skins (2007-2010 and 2013) as well as Teresa in the Maze Runner movie series (2014-2018). The other roles she has played include Catherine Earnshaw in Andrea Arnold's Wuthering Heights (2011), Carina Smyth in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017), Carole Ann Boone in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019), Haley Keller in Crawl (2019), Katarina Baker on the Netflix original series Spinning Out (2020) and Claire Redfield in Resident Evil"Welcome to Raccoon City (2021).In 2007, at the age of 14 and with no acting experience, Scodelario got cast in the first series of Skins as Effy Stonem. Scodelario was discouraged at auditions due to the belief that she was not old enough. However, a producer encouraged her to stay and asked to perform the role. While Scodelario wasn't allowed to speak much in the first series but she made her character more developed during the second season.
