 Radric Delantic Davis (born 12 February 1980) also known as Gucci Mane, is an American rapper and record executive. Gucci Mane helped to pioneer the hip hop subgenre trap music alongside fellow Atlanta rappers T.I. In particular, Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane in the early 2000s. In 2005, Gucci Mane debuted with Trap House, followed by his second album, Hard to Kill in 2006. In 2007, Gucci Mane dropped his third studio album Back to the Trap House. After a string of critically and commercially successful mixtape releases in 2009, Gucci Mane released his fourth studio album, The State vs. Radric Davis, his first gold-certified album. After spending time in prison between 2014 and 2016 Gucci Mane returned with a variety of retail releases which included All of Us Looking (2016). The album was praised by critics. Gucci Mane's collaboration in 2016 with Rae Sremmurd was titled "Black Beatles". It was his first number one track in the US Billboard Hot 100 charts.
