Jameela Jamil

 Jameela Alia Jamil, born 25 February 1986 is a British actress. She started her career with Channel 4, where she hosted a pop culture series in the T4 strand from 2009 to 2012. From 2009 to 2012, she was a T4 strand host for a pop culture series. Later, she became the host of the radio show The Official Chart and co-hosted The Official Chart Update with Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1. The first solo female presenter of The Official Chart, a BBC Radio 1 chart show.In 2016 Jamil moved to the United States. She played Tahani Al-Jamil on the NBC show, a fantasy comedy called The Good Place. She is also host of the TBS late-night game show The Misery Index and as one of the judges on the voguing reality competition show Legendary. Jamil was involved in two superhero projects in 2022: DC League of Super-Pets animated film as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series She-Hulk, Attorney at Law. The actress stated that Jamil was born with congenital hearing impairment and labyrinthitis. She had had many operations to rectify. Also, she had 50% hearing in her right ear, in contrast, her left ear could hear 70%.
