Heidi Klum (pronounced ['haIdi: 'klUm]; born 1 June 1973) is a German-American model as well as a television host, producer and businesswoman. In 1998, she was featured on the cover Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She is also the first German model to be an official Victoria's Secret Angel. Klum was born in 1973. She has been a host and judge for Project Runway and Germany's Next Topmodel since 2008. She received an Emmy nomination in 2008 and a win for Outstanding Host of Reality or Reality-Competition programs in 2013. Klum has been nominated for six Emmy Awards. She has worked as a spokesmodel at Dannon and H&M as well as appearing in numerous commercials for McDonald's and Volkswagen. Klum was Barbie's official ambassador in 2009 on the 50th anniversary of Barbie's birth. She appeared in a handful of roles and played part in supporting roles in films such as Blow Dry (2001) and Ella Enchanted (2004).
