Hayley Atwell

 Hayley Elizabeth Atwell, born 5 April 1982 in London was an American and British actress. Born and raised in London, Atwell studied acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and began her stage career in a 2005 production of James Kerr's adaptation of the Ancient Greek tragedy Prometheus Bound.She was later seen in numerous West End productions as well as on television. She was recognized for her breakthrough performance as Lady Elizabeth Foster in The Duchess (2008) in which she was nominated for an award called the British Independent Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her performance as the lead in the mini-series The Pillars of the Earth (2010) brought her a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Miniseries or Television Film.Atwell became famous internationally with her portrayal of Agent Peggy Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero film Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), the role she reprised in the short film Agent Carter (2013) and the television series of the same name along with other films and live-action and animated series.
