George Strait

 George Harvey Strait Sr. was born May 18, 1952. He is an American musician, singer and actor. Strait is often referred to as the "King of Country", and is a well-known singer, songwriter, actor, and music producer from the United States. His debut single, "Unwound", was released in 1981. It was the first single to be released that marked the mainstream rise of the neotraditional style. In the 1980s, seven of his albums made it to number one on the charts for country. Strait received his first Grammy Award for the album Troubadour in 2000. He was also named Artist of the Decade at the Academy of Country Music. Strait was the CMA Entertainer-of the Year in 1989, 1990, as well as 2013. He also won the ACM Entertainer of the Year in 1990 & 2014. Strait has been nominated for more CMA as well as ACM Awards and has won more awards in each category than any other artist.
