Farrah Leni Fawcett, born Ferrah Leni Fwcett on February 2, 1947 and passed away on June 25 in 2009. She was an American actress. Four-time Primetime Emmy Award nominee and six-time Golden Globe Award nominee, Fawcett became famous internationally as she appeared in a leading role in the first season of the television show Charlie's Angels.Fawcett began her acting career in the 1960s performing in commercials as well as guest roles on television. During the 1970s, she starred in several television shows, including recurring roles on Harry O (1974-1976), and The Six Million Dollar Man (1974-1978) along with her then-husband the film and television actor Lee Majors. The iconic red swimming suit poster sold six million copies during the very first year of printing. The role that made Fawcett famous was that of Jill Munroe, a private investigator in Charlie's Angels. Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson also starred in the show. All three actresses rose to stardom in the show. After appearing in the first season of the show in 1976, Fawcett decided to leave Charlie's Angels.
