Brooke Shields

 Brooke Christa Shields (born May 31 1965) is an American model and actress. She began her career as a child model, and was praised by the press at age 12 for her leading role in the film of Louis Malle Pretty Baby (1978). She continued modeling into her teens and appeared in a variety of dramas in the 1980s and beyond, including The Blue Lagoon (1980), and Franco Zeffirelli's Endless Love (1981).In 1983, Shields suspended her career as a model to attend Princeton University, where she earned an undergraduate degree in Romance languages. Shields returned to acting in the early 1990s and played small roles in films. She was also a star in the NBC sitcoms Suddenly Susan (1996-192000), for which she won two Golden Globe nominations and Lipstick Jungle (2008)-2009. Shields returned to NBC in 2017 with the role of Beverly Goodman in Law & Order: Special Victims the 19th season of the unit. Shields plays Beverly Goodman in Adult Swim's animated show Mr. Pickles since 2014. William Addams Reitwiesner has discovered the possibility that Shields is connected to several noble families from Italy and particularly Genoa as well as Rome.
