 Forget the idea of starting a hedge fund or becoming the CEO of an online startup. Go to Nigeria to become a pastor if you want to make a lot of money. In the beginning of my schooling I was a student at a Catholic school drove a vintage Porsche. We used to make jokes about it, however, his vintage 911 pales in comparison to these Nigerian men who are clothed. Pastors weren't adamant about poverty when they hung up their vests and started preaching the gospel to Nigerians. The new pastor sees opportunity in his flock's quest for salvation, and with dollar signs in his eyes and a shrewd use of his personal brand all the way to the bank with the sum of millions of dollars and claiming to be doing the work of God.Pastors are no longer solely focused on bringing people to Heaven They've evolved into smart businessmen with an eye at the bottom number. They've taken personal branding to heart and amassed fortunes doing so. These Nigerian Pastors are more televangelists in the style of Pat Robertson, Ted Baker and Jerry Falwell than true men of faith.
