Tina Louise

 Tina Louise (nee Blacker) is an American actress most well-known for her performance as Ginger Grant on the CBS TV show Gilligan's Island. After the loss of Dawn Wells in 2020, Louise was the last surviving actor from the TV series.She started her career as a stage actress in the 1950s and was able to land her breakthrough role in 1958 drama film God's Little Acre for which she was awarded the Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year.Louise had starring roles in The Trap, The Hangman, Day of the Outlaw, and For Those Who Consider themselves Young. She was also in The Wrecking Crew, The Happy Ending as well as The Stepford Wives (1975).The name "Louise" was reportedly added during her senior year of high school, when she complained her drama teacher that she was the only girl in her class with a middle name, and she suggested it. She went to Miami University in Ohio after high school.
