Shania Twain

 Eilleen Regina "Shania" Twain, OC (/aI'li:n/ eye-LEEN, /S@naI@/ born on August 28 in 1965) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. She is the most-sold female country artist in history, and she is also among the top-selling artists of all time, selling over 100 million albums. She was dubbed the "Queen of Country Pop" due to her fame. Billboard identified her the "leader" of the country-pop crossover stars.Raised in Timmins, Ontario, Twain began writing songs and singing at an early age, before joining Mercury Nashville Records in the early 1990s. Her 1993 self-titled debut album was a commercial disaster. In collaboration with producer and husband Robert John "Mutt" Lange, Twain gained notoriety with her sophomore studio album, The Woman in Me (1995) that was a huge popularity. Twain's third studio album "Come On Over" (1997), was a huge success, selling more than 20 million copies in total. It spawned eight hits, including "Any Man of Mine" and won her the Grammy Award.
