She is an American actress. She was the most-paid actress in 2018 and in 2019 globally. Time magazine named her one the top 100 people worldwide in 2021. Her films have earned over $14.3 billion worldwide, making Johansson the top-grossing box office star ever. She has received various accolades such as an Tony Award and a British Academy Film Award and a British Academy Film Award, in addition to being nominated for two Academy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards.Born to an American father and a Danish father and an American mother, Johansson aspired to be an actress from an early age. She first appeared on stage in an off-Broadway production as a child actor. Her debut film role was in North (1994).
