Nicole Scherzinger, born Nicole Prascovia [aNicole Prascovia[a] Elikolani Valiente on June 29, 1978, is an American dancer, singer-songwriter, and actress. Her most famous role is the role of the Pussycat dolls as the leading singer. She was born in Honolulu (Hawaii), and was raised in Louisville, Kentucky. Scherzinger was a musical theatre student at Wright State University. Scherzinger quit college to perform with the American rock group Days of the New. Then she had a modest success with Eden's Crush the girl group created by the WB's Popstars. Scherzinger served as the Pussycat doll's lead singer after having taken small parts in the acting. Her role as a prominent member of the group led to some disagreements which eventually led to the group's dissolution. Despite her fame, Scherzinger struggled to make an enviable career as a performer in a different group. Her first album, Her Name Is Nicole was a complete failure. Then she released two albums of her own, Big Fat Lie and Killer Love, which were moderately successful. (Killer Love includes the hit songs "Poison", Right There and "Don’t Take Your Time".
