Natasha Tonya Henstridge, born on August 15, 1974, is a Canadian actress. She rose to fame in 1995, when she played her first appearance in the sci-fi thriller Species. Then followed Species II, and Species III. She has starred in many films and TV series since then, such as Maximum Risk (1996) and The Whole Nine Yards ((2000), The Whole Ten Yards (2004) and Ghosts of Mars (2001), She Spies (1902-2004), Eli Stone (2008) and Would Be Kings (2008). She won the Gemini Award as Best Actress for the latter. In the next year, she travelled to Paris to explore her modeling dreams. She was 15 when she appeared on Cosmopolitan's French issue cover. Henstridge was featured on several magazines' covers, and later continued to appear in commercials for television shows for Old Spice, Olay and Lady Stetson. After her modeling career had been established, Henstridge began doing commercials but ultimately decided acting was what she liked best.
