Born on the 18th of April 1946, Michael Dean Murdock is an American Contemporary Christian singer-songwriter and televangelist. He is pastor at The Wisdom Center ministry in Haltom City (Texas). Murdock is a preacher all across the globe, and is most well-known for his proclaiming the gospel of prosperity. Murdock hosts the School of Wisdom television show along with Mike Murdock. Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Murdock was unable to accept interviews and had previously refused to answer questions about money.In 2003 the Fort Worth Star-Telegram ran a series about Murdock giving association (donor-raised) funds to a select group of family members on his association's board.On March 3 2003, the Associated Press reported Murdock asked supporters for donations to aid the poor but spent more than 60% of the donations for overhead costs, which included his salary. He also spent an insignificant sum (reported to be "legal minimums of 1% to 3 percentage") for helping those in need, or any other 'public interest'
