Michelle Pfeiffer

 Michelle Marie Pfeiffer, /'faIf@r/ was born April 29, 1958. She is an American actress. She is widely recognized for her performance as among the most prolific performers of the 1990s and the 1980s. Beginning her career with minor appearances on film and television in 1978, she was able to land her first role as a lead in Grease 2 (1982), which underperformed critically and commercially. Disillusioned with being typecast in nondescript roles , as beautiful women, she actively seeking out more challenging roles which led to her breakout performance in 1983 as gangster moll Elvira Hancock in Scarface. She achieved further success with the roles she played in The Witches of Eastwick (1987) and Married to the Mob (1988) in which she was nominated for her debut of six consecutive Golden Globe Awards.
