Martha Higareda

 Higareda was the daughter of Jose Luis Higareda and actress Miriam Higareda. She was born in Villahermosa Tabasco, Mexico. Her first love was acting and she began dancing flamenco, tap, tap, and folklore in the early years of her life. When she was 14, she moved to Mexico City from her native Tabasco to pursue a career as an actor. Her first appearance was in the theater, appearing in plays like "Little Women" or "Don Juan." "Being an advanced student, she enrolled in College early, at age 15 and began studying Communications at El Tecnologico de Monterrey. The first thing in the morning, she would attend college, and at night, she would be at acting school. She also performed in theater on weekends. In the year following, her parents and sister relocated to Mexico City and attended acting school with her. Her first TV appearance was as anchor hostess on Disney Channel's Zapping Zone. A year later her mom and sister moved to Mexico City to attend acting school together with Martha.
