Lewis Hamilton

 Sir Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton MBE HonFREng (born 7 January, 1985) is a British racing driver currently competing in Formula One for Mercedes. Hamilton was born in Stevenage in Hertfordshire and is currently a Formula One driver for Mercedes, has won seven World Drivers Championship championships. Hamilton also holds the record for highest number of wins (103), pole places (103) and podium finishes (199). This resulted in the possibility of a Formula One drive with McLaren from 2007 until 2012, which made Hamilton the first and to date, the only black driver to race in the race. Hamilton was runner-up by one point to Kimi Raikkonen in his first season. In the following season Hamilton won his first title with a stunning display, completing an important overtake on the final lap of the race of the season to become the then-youngest Formula One World Champion in history. Hamilton left McLaren after six years and was signed by Mercedes in 2013. He was mandated to adopt a turbo-hybrid motor for the 2014 regulations. It was the beginning of a period of success for Hamilton. Hamilton has since been awarded another six drivers' championships. In 2014 and 2015, Hamilton won consecutive titles, in an intense rivalry with Nico Rosberg. Rosberg quit shortly after.
