Born on January 24, 1971, Kenya Summer Moore is an American actress and model. She has also been writer, producer, TV personality, and model. Moore is most well-known for her 1993 win at Miss USA. She also starred in Bravo's fifth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Moore rose to fame in 1993 when she won the Miss USA contest and placed in the top six of the Miss Universe pageant. Following Carole Gist, Moore was the second African-American woman to be named Miss USA. She also holds the distinction as the first woman with dark skin color to win the contest. Moore has since appeared in movies and television shows including Waiting To Exhale (1995), Deliver Us from Eva (2003), The Steve Harvey Show (1998) and Girlfriends (2004).Since 2012, Moore has starred in the Bravo series The Real Housewives of Atlanta that is among the most consistently highly watched reality shows. Moore was also part of the crew of The Celebrity Apprentice in 2015.
