Kelly Clarkson

 Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American artist, singer, author, and television show host. She became famous when she won the first season of American Idol in 2002, which led to a record deal with RCA. Her first single "A Moment Like This" was a top hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was the most-sold country single in 2002. It was released as part of her debut album Thankful (2003) that debuted on the top spot of the Billboard 200. Looking to reinvent her look, Clarkson parted ways with Idol management and shifted towards pop-rock for her second studio album, Breakaway (2004). Breakaway was supported by four top-ten US singles, including the title track "Since U been Gone", "Behind These Hazel Eyes", "Because of You" as well as the track "Because of You". The album also garnered two Grammy Awards.
