Katy Perry

 Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, born on October 25 1984, is an American singer-songwriter and television personality. Her influence on pop music and her unique style are well-known. Vogue called her the "Queen of Camp". Perry was just 16 when she started a career as a gospel singer, released her first album, Katy Hudson under Red Hill Records, in the year 2001. It was an unpopular commercial success. She relocated to Los Angeles at 17 to explore secular music, and then later adopted the stage name "Katy Perry" from her mother's maiden name. When she was signed to Columbia Records, she recorded Fingerprints, but was dropped by Capitol Records before signing to Capitol Records. One of the Boys (2008) is the pop-rock album that included her debut single "I kissed a Girl", and the second single "Hot n Cold", both of which made it to the top spot on the U.S. charts. Billboard Hot 100 respectively. The disco-influenced pop album Teenage Dream (2010) spawned five U.S. number one singles--"California Gurls", "Teenage Dream", "Firework", "E.T. " as well as "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F. )" --becoming the first and only album of a solo female vocalist to do so. Teenage Dream:The Complete Confection (2012) is which is a reissue released in 2012, was the top U.S. single "Part of Me".
