Katy Perry

 Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, born October 25 1984, is an American TV personality and singer-songwriter. The public has praised her for her influence on modern pop music and her campy style and style, with Vogue calling her the "Queen of Camp. Perry aged 16 when she began her career as a gospel artist she released her first album, Katy Hudson under Red Hill Records, in the year 2001. It was not a success commercially. At 17 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue secular music. Then she took on the stage name of "Katy Perry", which was her mother's maiden name. She released an album called Fingerprints while signed to Columbia Records, but was dropped before signing to Capitol Records.She became famous with her debut album One of the Boys (2008) the pop rock album that featured the debut track "I Kissed a Girl" and follow-up single "Hot n Cold" which climbed to number one and three on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 respectively. Teenage Dream (2010), a disco-influenced pop album, produced five U.S. number-one singles: "California Gurls", “Teenage Dream" and "Firework". ", as well as "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F. )" --which was the first and only album of a solo female singer to do so. In 2012 the U.S. released Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection (2012) as the new release.
