Jessica Chastain

 Jessica Michelle Chastain, born March 24, 1977, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her performances in films with feminist themes. She has won many awards such as an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe Award. Time magazine listed her as one of the top 100 influential people in the world in 2012. Her birth year was 1965 and began acting from a young age. Her first stage appearance was in 1998 when she portrayed Shakespeare's Juliet. After completing her acting studies at Juilliard School, she was offered a talent-holding contract by John Wells. She was a frequent guest star in several television series which included Law & Order: Trial by Jury. She also took on roles in stage productions of Anton Chekhov's play The Cherry Orchard in 2004 and Oscar Wilde's tragedy Salome in 2006.After making her film debut at the age of 31 in the film drama Jolene (2008), Chastain made her mark in 2011 , with six films released which included the dramatics Take Shelter (2011) and The Tree of Life (2011). She earned Academy Award nominations for playing an aspirational socialite in the period drama The Help (2011) and as a CIA analyst in the suspense film Zero Dark Thirty (2012).
