Jennifer Hudson

 Jennifer Kate Hudson, also known as J.Hud (born September 12, 1981), is an American actor, singer, and talk-show host. She has been awarded numerous accolades for her contributions to television, film theatre, and recording music throughout her career. Hudson became the youngest woman and the only African-American woman to win all four major American entertainment awards, which include Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony (EGOT). She also received an award on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013. Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2020.Hudson gained notoriety in 2004 when she was she was a finalist in the third season of American Idol, placing seventh. In 2006 she made her feature film debut with Dreamgirls as Effie in a role that featured her as the character of Effie White. She was awarded the Academy Award in Best Supporting Actress for the musical and was the youngest African-American winner of the category of competitive acting. Hudson was signed to Arista Records in 2008 and released her debut studio album, named "Hunter" that was certified Gold in the US, UK and won the Grammy Award as Best R&B Album.
