Jeffree Star, born Jeffrey Lynn Steininger Jr. on November 15th, 1985, is an American YouTuber and makeup artist. He is also a singer-songwriter for a while. Star is the creator and owner of Jeffree Star Cosmetics. In 2009, Star released Beauty Killer an album of studio recordings that included songs such as "Lollipop Luxury" featuring Nicki Minaj. To advertise his music, he performed on numerous tours around the world. He signed with Konvict Muzik in 2010. But he abruptly left the music industry in 2013 citing the legal issues the owner of the label had to face between 2007 and 2010. Star established Jeffree Star Cosmetics in November 2014. Forbes stated that Star earned $18 million in 2018 through YouTube alone. That makes him the 5th highest paid YouTuber. Star already had a large following that had joined MySpace to become a member of his MySpace group. His profile was able to gain many friends from the beginning. Star's MySpace photos often garnered over 50k comments. He was also an established independent artist and his daily ranking put him at the top of MySpace's rankings.
