Hugh Michael Jackman AC (born 12 October 1968) is an Australian actor. His career began in the theatre and on television. In 2000 the actor was cast in the role of James "Logan" as an actor based on the Marvel character Wolverine. The role earned him the Guinness World Record (2000-2017) for the longest-running career as live-action Marvel actor. His record was broken in 2021. Jackman has won numerous awards, including two Tony Awards and Emmy Awards and a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award and an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. Jackman was awarded the title of Companion of The Order of Australia in the Queen's Birthday Honours. This honor is a tribute to Jackman for his contribution to performing arts.
