Hayley Atwell

 Hayley Elizabeth Atwell (born 5 April 1982) is an actress from the United States. She is a British and American actress from the United States and British. Atwell was raised in London. She was a student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and made her stage debut in 2005 in James Kerr's version of Prometheus Bound, an Ancient Greek tragedy. After numerous appearances in West End productions, Atwell was acknowledged for her performance in the role of Lady Elizabeth Foster, which was nominated in the British Independent Film Award for Best Supporting Artistress. Her leading performance in the miniseries The Pillars of the Earth (2010) brought her nominations for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for a TV miniseries or Film.Atwell rose to international prominence with her portrayal of Agent Peggy Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero film Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and the role she reprised in the short film Agent Carter (2013) as well as the television series of the same name along with other live-action and animated shows.
