Hannah Simone

 Hannah Simone (born 3 August 1980) is a Canadian-born British actress, television host, and former VJ as well as a fashion model. Her character as Cece on Fox's sitcom New Girl is well-known. Hannah was born to an Indian father and an English mother with German, Italian and Greek Cypriot roots. Simone has a brother called Zack. Simone spent her early childhood in Calgary. Simone was between the ages of 7 and 10 when she moved across three continents and attended schools on each. At the age of 13, Simone was living in Cyprus and working as a model. Simone was just 16 when she moved to New Delhi, where she was a student at the American Embassy School. A year later, at 17, she returned to Canada. She moved to White Rock, British Columbia at first, but she later moved to Vancouver, where she attended University of British Columbia. Following her graduation, she went to Hounslow, United Kingdom for a year, where she was an official in the refugee and human rights officer at the United Nations.
