Karim Kharbouch, who is also referred to as French Montana (Arabic: krym khrbwsh (also known as kaeri:m kharbu?S)), is a American-born Moroccan singer. Born in Morocco, he emigrated to the United States with his family when he was 13. He was the founder of Cocaine City Records and Coke Boys Records. After years of independent music He signed a joint-venture record deal with Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Records and Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group in 2012.Kharbouch released his first mixtape in 2007 and had his debut breakthrough with the single "Choppa Choppa Down" in 2010. The album was his debut album, Excuse My French on May 21, 2013. In July 2017, Montana released his second studio album, Jungle Rules, which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. The lead single "Unforgettable", featuring Swae Lee Montana, was his only lead song to reach the top 10 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.Karim Kharbouch was born November 9, 1984 in Casablanca, Morocco.
