Francine York (born Francine Yerich; August 26, 1936 - January 6 7) was an American actress and model. Francine YerickYork was also her name. Her first job was an employment in Bimbo's San Francisco nightclub as a showgirl. Bimbo's main performer, Mary Meade French, brought Francine to Hollywood and assisted in getting her registered with an agent. Francine was a showgirl in Frank Sennes’ Moulin Rouge on Sunset Blvd. for six months. In a bid to avoid sharing the stage with elephants, pigeons, and horses, she started studying acting with teacher/actress Jeff Corey. She was chosen by a theatrical producer in Whisper in God's Ear, a production at the Circle Theatre. Her first film role was Secret File: Hollywood in 1960. It was directed by Robert Clarke but was not released until 1962. The actress was a captivating sexpot in Jerry Lewis' It's Only Money. This role brought her a lot of attention.
