Emily Erin Deschanel (/,deIS@'nel/ born 11th October 1976) is an American actress. She played the character of Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan in the Fox crime procedural series Bones (2005-2017).In 1994, Deschanel made her feature film debut with the romantic comedy-drama It's Going to Happen to You in which her father was the chief cinematographer. In 2002, Deschanel played the role as Pam Asbury in Stephen King’s horror miniseries Rose Red.
