David Ortez

 David Amyrico Ortiz Arias, Dominican-American, former designated hitter (DH) and the first baseman in Major League Baseball, was born on the 18th of November, 1975. He was the primary player with the Boston Red Sox in the American League (AL). After playing parts of six seasons with the Minnesota Twins with unremarkable results, Ortiz moved to the Red Sox, where he was a key player in ending the team's long-running 86-year World Series championship drought in 2004, as well as winning the championship in 2013 and 2007, and he was named the World Series Most Valuable Player in 2013. He averaged 41 runs scored and 128 RBI over the first five seasons of the team. In addition to winning championships in 2007 and 2013 Ortiz was named the World Series Most Valuable Player in 2013.
