Antonio Tavaris Brown Sr. Antonio Tavaris Brown Sr., the American football wide receiver, was born July 10, 1988. He is currently an unsigned free agent. Brown was born in Liberty City, Miami and attended Miami Norland High School. He played college football at Central Michigan University, where Brown was awarded All-American honours in 2008 and 2009 as punt returner. A steal in the sixth round of the NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brown is regarded as one of the best receivers of 2010 with the highest amount of first-team All Pro selections at his position during the decade, earning four consecutive selections (2014-2017) in all of them as a member of the Steelers. He amassed more receptions than anyone else in the league from his debut season in 2010 through 2018.During Brown's rookie season with the Steelers, the team advanced to Super Bowl XLV but lost to the Green Bay Packers. In his first season in the league, he recorded 16 receptions and 167 yards across ten games. Brown was the first NFL player to accumulate more than 1,000 yards of receiving and returning during his second NFL season. Thanks to his performance, Brown was selected as punt returner for the 2012 Pro Bowl.
