Anderson Hays Cooper, born on June 3, 1967, is an American broadcast journalist who hails from Vanderbilt. Cooper is the anchor of the CNN newscast Anderson Cooper 360deg. Cooper is also an CBS News correspondent for 60 Minutes. Cooper graduated from Yale University in 1989 with a Bachelor's of Arts. He began his travels across the globe, capturing footage of war-torn areas for Channel One News. Cooper started his career with ABC News in 1995 as reporter.
